New Dyno #'s

First off i had to drive 3 hours to the other side of dayton, oh to get these numbers. Secondly the numbers where done about 40 minutes after i had arrived and i let the car cool down some.

Well the final results were 148whp and 163tq

This is an improvement over my previous dyno which was 141whp and 154tq. Only thing that was changed between then and now is i have "newer" tranny installed and no muffler. Last time my tranny took a crap about two days after my last dyno leading me to believe it was costing me some power

I was really hoping for 150whp but so close, im really happy with these numbers, that 163lbs of tq really makes the car feel strong. Im out of town currently but as soon as get back ill scan and edigt this post with the new sheet. I gurantee that this time the power band is way better than last.

Like i told some of the guys at the meet this will be the last time i dyno anyting in the 100's, next time i dyno i promise to have double the numbers ;)

For reference my old dyno, look real hard at that power band because the new one is way better

p.s. 7mge+upgraded piping+no muffler= Loudest fuckin car on the dyno :bigthumb:

Get that turbo on ASAP...

I'd burn my eyes out with a soldering iron if I had to putt around with 150hp.
My car makes 155rwhp and does a 14.7 alas our dynos aren't as "happy" as dyno jet ones, so if I ran my car in the US it'd probably make closer to 180rwhp:icon_bigg .

In other words, a power figure really doesn't mean alot, go to the track and see what you run, its a greater indication of the power output of a car.

Nice numbers, do u know what kind of torque your car makes?

I would like to get my car on the track oneday wether or not im turbo or not is a whole other question. Im tryin to rile my friend up w/ his 3000gt again.(i did some shit talkin after the new numbers) I may try it one day depending on him.

Nope regardless you can't accurately measure Torque at the wheels with a dyno because unlike power its multiplied by the drivetrain.

I have over 3000nm of tractive effort at the wheels from 1500-5500rpm.

A 14.7 is easy when the engine is in a MK2:biglaugh: .

Fuzz, when I saw this thread, I thought you had the turbo installed. If you drove three hours over there and three hours back, you could have had the turbo installed by then.................:icon_bigg

Now get that turbo installed before Joe is forced to burn his eyesockets.

Not that bad for an N/A that's basically stock.

Too bad any N/A #'s are bad (according to anyone who has a turbo)

Think of how you would have ran fuzz, had you removed the 10lbs of kind from the spare tire well. What's up FUZZ, Long time no see.

What year supra do you have man? It seems a bit lite on the hp. I know you're rock'n the JDM but jeeez.
