OK, Im getting seriously disappointed at new music now... all the bands I used to love just get worse...

Trivium - The Crusade, if you ever listened to either of their CDs prior to this, it was hard, fast and rocked. The Crusade sounds TOO MUCH like old school metallica, I like a few songs, but barely. Im seriously disappointed in them, Im wondering if Matt Heffy injured his voice like the guy from Avenge Sevenfold, he cant scream anymore either.

Papa Roach - The Paramour Sessions: WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED? They went from Rapcore or whatever, to somewhat more rock, to pop rock, to this emo bullshit? what in the fuck, they remind me of my 18 yo brother going through identity crisis, they deserve the camshaft.

Deftones - Hole in the Earth (SINGLE): This song is excellent, Chino has mastered his voice and Ive never heard it replicated. This song took 2 or 3 times to really grow on me, but now I LOVE it.Highly recommended.

Eighteen Visions - Self Titled: This is their 3rd CD that Im aware of, they seem to be going soft as well. No more screaming, just pop rock BS. Really pissed me off, I kinda like the single Victim, but its nothing amazing.

Anyone else have anything, I think Im missing a few.

Yeah I recently heard their old shit, I was amazed, then I read what happened. Apparently he destroyed his voice and almost lost it. Then someone taught him how to sing, so now thats all he does.

Flyleaf and Lacuna Coil are two of my favorites, love em.

Weird shit about Flyleaf I found last night, when I heard their CD a year ago, I thought Breath Today sounded alot like a band I saw 3 years ago MAY 15th 2003 when Evanescene released theri CD. They played here at a small venue and the opener was a band called Passerby, chick singer, great band, I bought their demo that night, had it in storage kinda, ever since. I looked at the Demo last night I had to know, turns out Passerby IS flyleaf, they were the VERY FIRST BAND I ever saw live. Im still blown away, they were awesome. The song Breath Today is on that demo CD of passerbys, its the same song haha, this shits rare and prolly expensive now.... awesome.

March 4th 2004, thoguht it was 03 I guess, check this out its from Wikipedia:

"As Passerby, the band released three EPs and played over 100 shows in Texas alone over the span of two years under the booking and promotion company Runt Entertainment. One of those shows was played with Evanescence at the Engine Room in Houston on March 4, 2004. At that time, the crowd of 800 people was the largest crowd that Passerby had ever played for, and they sold all 150 of their EPs."

I was thinking at work yesterday, that FLyleaf - ALl Around Me Shoulda been like the ending song when Silent Hill was closing out, I dont know why, I just see it...the lyrics make sense kinda too, if applied that way.
