new camaro or 89 supra???

I really doubt you could get the Supra to the Camaro's level for cheaper. Considering it's NEW you'd have to replace any and all wear items in the Supra. You'd have to raise it's power reliably (not going to touch the Camaro's torque). You'd have to add all the features like traction control, stability control, ect...

Really, not going to happen, the Camaro will mop the floor with the Supra unless you're IJ....

But, as you own the Supra outright, and will be paying for everything outright (right?), it's the smart decision in this economy. Go ahead and finance the car, what if you lose your job tommorow? Not a smart move IMHO (and why I don't have one sitting in my driveway)

Well i have a dd now, but it sux gas and all. I have a v8 silverado. Its paid for but i want a car. My truck has 190xxx on it and stuff is starting to break here and there. Im so confused... I love my supra but i love the camaro and really want something new. Reason being why i can get the camaro over the supra is cause i can take out a loan for the new car but not so much the supra..... I've been asking myself this question for a while now and i think im just going to get the camaro and just kinda work on my supra here and there. Am i a cheater if i get the new SS Camaro?::shootme:::dunno:::hang::

The SS camaro will and did show that is has more hp and tq at a cheaper price than that of the challenger and the mustang gt. With that said i appreciate your thought but tha hell with ford and dodge. Chevrolet is the better when it comes to performance muscle cars... lol. Ima go ahead and buy the SS Camaro and kinda work on my supra here and there. i love both cars cause they are both at the top of the chain! lol

Yes is was a joke. But the LT1 is not FTL. The LT1 is an excellent motor. Stupid LT1 OWNERS are FTL.

It was kind of a joke. The LS is a great series of engin's. Just remember if you are going for the auto its going to eat the power to the wheels. But a nice big 4k stall fixes that.
Also the auto is a L99 not LS3. Its a bit different but not much. The manual is the LS3. And the manual trans(TR6060) is pretty damn good. It can hold gobs of torque. Unlike the T56 witch can only hold 550ish.

and ford and chevy are any better interior and quality wise... i think not my friend.... you cant pull anything apart on a GM interior without breaking 10 other items.... and ford interiors looks like a 3yr old designed it with duplos

while the ss may have beat the challenger out in performance, id still take the srt8 anyday over it... it looks better, and its 1 of my all time fav cars

That pic is funny, but the Camaro is rolling on larger wheels/tires and at stock rideheight while the mustang is lowered on dinky wheels (not to mention the angle of the pic)
