Ive finally fired up my 7mgte tonight after 2.5 years of rebuilding the whole car including the engine. It was getting late,so we have to continue tomorrow

Everything is new, except the block and head itself. We had it running 3 or 4 times.the first 2 times, not more then 20 sec or so.fixed and oil leak, then went again.Ive seen new built engines produce smoke a couple minutes after start up before.but this time it looked like the smoke was getting thicker after a couple of minutes or more of running

IF there infact is a problem,i can only think of 1 thing.I had to move the turbo oil return line to the onther inlet just to the right.if you see this picture, there are 2.the right one was blocked before. There shouldnt be any oil pressure there.anyone know?

Are you sure?? Its been a while since i installed the crank scrapers. But im sure i remember the inlet/outlet was right on top of the sump, with and good size opening straight down.It sure would explain the smoke though
