i recently just install a bosch bov, and i just notice every once in a while at high rpms when i shift the car will back fire.

i was researching and i think sumwhere they said we can adjust the blow off valve to prevent back fire?

thanks for your time and input guys.

If Poodles guess is right and it most likely is, it means that for a split second when you let off the throttle at high rpms you run rich due to the BOV venting metered air out side of your engine rather then recirculating it back in (stock).

If that is true then yes, it is still 'safe' to drive if you dont mind it backfiring, and sometimes stalling.

Oh and a little searching goes a long way.
