Got the new turbo installed and running friday. It's a 70mm compressor wheel and a .69ex, the same turbo "hottscennessey" is using so this will be an interesting comparison. So far it puts the old ct to shame, my old turbo did 407rwtq and 350rwhp. This turbo spools up at about 4200rpm full boost (13psi). Its currently running a set of 550cc injectors, garett intercooler, walbro pump, full titan stainless exhaust, tial 44mm waste gate with dump tube, koyo radiator, 2.5" intercooler pipes, built motor, and a act 6puck. Should make it to the dyno tomorrow and will post up both dyno sheets. As for the butt dyno :aigo:!!!!!!!

i think the spool is fine my stock ct would hit hard a 3500rpm then die off towards redline. this turbo hits hard at 4400rpm and pulls very hard to the end rev limit comes up fast

70mm compressor wheel with a p-trim, as for the tial i used a 38mm on my maxima to solve a boost creep issue. So now i took my hks manifold and welded a tial 44mm flange to it, then had it ported to flow properly. No sign of boost creep at 13psi with spring only. I think tial is one of the best and i wont trust my motor to some e-bay knock off. Used my other tial everyday on my max with no problems

Are you using a boost controler, or just the wastegate spring?
How are you controlling your fuel curve electronically?
AFPR? Lex AFM?
have a tial 44mm with 13lb spring and a greddy boost controller with the controller off is see 13psi controller on i see 16psi but gotta tune it before i really beat on it. Also for now it is using a vpc, afc

So the result is... 419rwhp and 396rwtq @ 17psi pump gas 93octane. Got a short vid and will be posting the sheet tomorrow. Ran out of fuel at this level around 4500-5500 the af was 12:1 could not richen it up at that range. After 5500 it would go 10:5. Watched the fuel pressure drop at 4500, so next is a better fuel system, just trying to decide on dual walbro or a1000 for my daily driver.

Oh and this turbo pulls hard to redline from 4300 - 5600 before the torque starts to drop

Q: Numbers seem a bit low for that Pump at 17psi?

Might be time to do some Timing changes both Cams and Ignition.
has a small boost leak also stock head but yes time to put in the msd also gonna pull the head for a port, polish, valve springs, ffim. What numbers do yo feel would be good at the current level? I pulled the base timing back to 7-8 degrees before the run

I come from a land down under
Q: I'd be expecting 450+ for that big a turbo but it all depends on the map it might go nuts after 20psi ;)

So you're running this on a stock ecu?

<Ninja edit> Sorry just saw the running out of fuel issue that explains it.
So it has a lean dip at 4500 then comes back at 5500?

ya planned to pull some timing with the msd at the same point i pull fuel for now anyway
