i miss my tanabe it was the shit, i haven't installed my raptor racing exhaust yet. i can wait till my car's done!!!
but yes resisnators FTW when it comes to quieting down the car. i ran straight pipes from the cat back and boy were they loud. people use to ask if i had a v8 under the hood

I had the same "droning" sound. It was driving me nuts. The cat won't help.
The resonator might help but what you really need is a new (quieter) muffler.
I am running a 3" generic resonator and a stainless Borla Turbo XL muffler. I just picked it out of their catalog 'cause it looked to be the right size and shape. Works great, I think I actually gained some hp (compared to my old loud muffler), and ahhhhhhh....quiet!

My car doesn't drone, but the leaking DDP is driving me nuts... Getting a rerouted one soon...

Yep, got the extra warranty, but as nothing has "failed," it doesn't need to be repaired...

add resonator & a layer or two of dynamat or equivalent, especially to the cargo area. Works wonders
