I would honestly go 6spd.
But I don't have the extra cash right now. I'm sure that if the auto doesn't work out and takes a shit on me, I will be going manual. I mean, either way I will PROBABLY go 6 spd eventually anyways.

you can not go 6 speed with a mkiii supra using the v160 no rear diff gears will work for this
only option is tremec richmond zf6 t56 and gm 6 speeds the mkiv supra haves an extremely tall rear diff mated to really low trany gears

Yeah, as the next person mentioned, you can either swap diff. gears, or I've heard of people swapping complete diffs.
considering the fab work its not worth it there is plenty of 6 speeds that will work i only heard the turbo A diff is close to 320 but may just be a rumor and if so only 500 of those were ever made.
