mine broke the exact same place. go to a junkyard and find a pontiac intake pipe. i think mine was from a sunfire or something. its icky and domestic, but it gets the job done nicely and removes that silencer. looks a lot cleaner, ill try to get pics tomorrow.

Just dont forget the n/a was the original, and then later the added a turbo ;)

I guess, but only in North America. The 86 came Turbocharged in other countries (ie: Japan). In fact Japan only had Turbo MA70's, and that included 86.

But... my joke is over, haha.

here's the intake, slightly modified with a utility knife so it'd fit over the throttle body, just cut about 1/4 an inch of rubber off of the end. fit extremely snugly over the MAF.

Are you talking about the intake piping because if you are you can go to autozone, get a intake from a accord and it will work on an NA.

Come on guys.......those engine bays are pitiful. Just because it saids NA doesn't mean it's suppose to stand for not attractive. I would never let my car look like that. How about someone showing some clean engine bays. Jeff played a little joke on you, but damn his engine is clean. You could clean yours easier, you don't have to clean the turbo...........lol

Mine isn't perfect, but I do clean it when I wash my car.........just my two cents worth.................lol

I would say fifteen would be on the low side. I would think that you would gain at least sixteen or seventeen. Our cars are heavy enough without all the extra weight of the dirt, grime, and sut. It may even breathe a little better with all that dust out of the engine bay. Just think about how good you feel after getting out of the shower. I know when I get out of the shower, I feel like I could outrun a viper. I want my car to feel the same way..............;)
