IIRC, the Luxor is the "official" hotel of SILV....i believe they reserve a block of 100 rooms or so....

The activities that make up the annual SILV event are a little spread out - not as bad as other large events though.

Our official hotel for the past 9 years has been the Luxor. I am still working on the contracts so I don't yet have announcement on this year's hotel.

The Drags are about 17 miles from the hotel. We are not yet sure where the dyno will be this year though and the Show-and-Shine lot is up in the air as the Luxor has plans to build a new parking garage on the lot we used last year.

There are also plenty of hotels that are less expensive than the Luxor. You could probably stay very inexpensively and save that money for a rental car.

Looking forward to having you join us in Vegas this year. Be sure to bookmark http://Vegas.Supras.Org for the most up to date information available.

You might want to wait on booking your rooms though. Last year's rates were lower than the majority of the "discount" (fleebag) hotels. I'll work on getting our contract ASAP!

Yea, I would rent a car, but I have a little problem...I happen to be 18 lol. So car rental is out. And Grim, I may take you up on that offer. I'm still trying to get together some extra money for food and hotel and stuff. But thanks. I'll let you know.
