hey guys.. im planning to buy a 7m 86.5 but the coil is damaged... i was wondering what other cars can i get a coilpack from aside from a 7m or maybe i can swap it for individual distributors.. thanx for any info..

86.5 was NA only so the coil should be sourced from another supra. I am unaware of a drop in replacement for after market but never delved into NA before.
The GE coil is a simple coil, like found on damn near any car with a distributor. Not rare at all, and it looks almost exactly like the coil that was on my 82 hilux.

BTW - Thread moved to the NA engine section.
MSD coil here. $40 or so at the parts store. 2 wires to cut, connect rings, and install. Still need to make a bracket for mine, though. Zip ties are tough
