wow are you guys serious...I would venture to say I've done over 500 oil changes since I've started as a mechanic, and I've NEVER come across an oil filter that a pair of these couldn't handle...

The housing isn't really hard in theory... it's one large bango style bolt.

The issue is it's usually tight as hell, so a breaker bar is required.

Hell, once the housing was off I'd pop the bastard in my drum of carb cleaner as it would eat the rubber right out, plus clean all the gunk out (won't harm any metals)

dude this happened to me also! it took me two days. just get one of those oil filter removers that you put a ratchet on. get an extenstion and just give it all youve got. it will move just give it time. also helps to have someone on the top side making sure the filter clamp thing is on there straight, cant see shit when you got both hands wedged in there lol

Poke two holes in the filter.. and stick a pair of needle nose pliers into those two holes... and turn.
