Hey guys,
I'm looking to bypass the fuel pulsation dampener and the hardline connected to it. The hardline has some crimps and such in it, not to mention the whole thing is just an ugly mess. Please don't direct me to driftmotion for a kit. I want to start making my own hoses so I know how.

My questions are:
  1. What's the thread size/pitch of the FPD?
  2. Also, if you've got any idea what length of hose I'd need to get from the fitting @ the FPD to the hardline under the car?
  3. Is -4AN good for this application?

I was looking to get:
1) http://www.summitracing.com/parts/FRA-118004-CL/?rtype=10
2) http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-230406/
3) Then of course the fitting..

SO MANY FITTINGS!!
http://www.summitracing.com/search/...plated/Fitting-Size-1/minus-4-AN/?Ns=Rank|Asc

Why do they make this so confusing for me..

Thanks for ANY help, seriously..
-Mike

Take the Fuel Pressure Dampner to any Speed Shop, which I am sure you have a good amount in Florida, and they will match the threads and then you can choose the -AN size you want for fuel.

I believe its a 14mmx1.5. Ill have to check my fittings. The return and CSI are both the same size and are 12mmx1.5.

The -AN number is how many 16'ths of an Inch the hose/fitting is. -6 is 3/8th inch, -8 is 1/2 inch.

I wouldn't run below a -6 as i believe thats the size of the stock line. Im planning on running new lines -8 feed -6 return.

991954 earls -6 to 14mmx 1.5 will get that done. you would need the -6 90* hose end on top of that.

i stole the attached pdf showing parts to convert the fuel rail. the hose lengths listed were too short for my app but i just ordered a 15 foot hose. the carb adapter is pricey.
