not to steal ur thread, but i'm having the same issuse to as welled ? on my 90 supra non-turbo auto, everything is the same thing as "mclabaugh" mention on his car ! i even replaced all new six spark plugs, includin new wires, plus cap and rotor as welled ! but the car still bogs, backfire and will not accelerate easily as welled if i put it on "drive"! but if the car is on "park" it idles fine.

what a thread jacker!! lol!! i hope you can figure out your issue bud..

okay so i checked the fuel pressure today. it was within the limits of the TSRM with vacuum pulled and with vacuum on..but it held no pressure when i turned the car off..

it may have been the tester because it was at 5psi before i ever plugged the tester to the car and it read 5psi also when i shut the car off..

i did, however strip out the lower fuel block the the main feed goes to and then it comes up to the fuel rail..so now i ordered a new union bolt and washers. but toyota doesnt offer the block that takes the 2 union bolts.
Support, Fuel Pipe (23849A) 23849-42010 is the toyota PN i got from the TSRM?? i will start a WTB thread though so i dont clog up this one.

i still have the issue of no acceleration regardless..so i am still trying to fix that..so hopefully someone can help me figure that issue out..thanks.
mike.

I've probably got one of those laying around, if you can get out to Baytown, you can have it. Drop me a p.m. if you're interested.

thanks for the offer cuel!! i found one from bryanintexas on here. thats my tejas toyota buddy!

i put it on but i still have a small leak from there now. i used 2 washers on each banjo bolt. and the upper one still leaks.

i did however fix my acceleration issue. i reset the TPS sensor per the TSRM and also put my EGR back on. runs like a dream. the 5spd swap is the best upgrade from an automatic you can ever do!!

i am running open headers, but i do have a muffler that needs to be welded on. but some a-hole shop by my house wanted $250 just to weld it on with about 2.5 feet of 2 1\2 " pipe. my car is fricken loudddd!!

now with the 5spd tranny, my speedo is off. its an r154 with an auto rear end. is there any way to recalibrate it??

thanks to everyone for all the help!!

IIRC you can swap out the speedo gear from the automatic. I could be wrong though. I wouldn't think the jump from a 3.91 to a 4.30 would be that huge of a change for the speedo.
