Hey guys, I would have posted this in the tech section, but it's not about my Supra, it need some advice on my 93 s10 4x4 blazer. It has 44k miles on it, and it never goes to high idle when started, even when its freezing outside, it just goes right to normal idle. It will also smoke when first started, more so when its warm outside, it also is harder to start when its warm outside. I posted on the s10 owners site, but they dont seem to know shit. I know that there are alot of knowledgeable people here so I thought I would give it a try. Any ideas would be appreciated, I'd rather fix it myself than put it in the shop. Thanks.:1zhelp:

Sounds to me like a water temp sensor is out or on its way out.

The only way the computer knows that the water is cold is via "A" sensor. Don't know which one.

As for smoking, I would guess its got a bad valve stem seal or several.

The s-10 has been great, other than the small problems I listed. I can definately say that after 16 years of supra ownership, that the blazer has been far less problematic, but not nearly as much fun. Thanks for the input guys.
