Need Quick Fix!!!

I need my car by tomorrow, but my lower intercooler pipe (the one that connects to t6he turbo) cracked and has a peice missing. I can probably find the peice, but is there any type of sealant i can use to fix it temporarily since i can't seem to get my hands on one.

The car is an 88, if anyone near bayonne NJ has one, please let me know.

The crack is probably small but it will get much bigger when driving.

Anyway. Back in my early 7M days, I got a hole in my lower IC pipe just the same as you I'm guessing. I had to drive the car to get another one, so I duct taped the hose around a bunch of times. Sure, it was cheap and ghetto mod but it worked well enough to get me where I needed to go to get a new IC pipe and it held boost alright.

Worst case scenario, if you have to...

first.. use an expoxy based adhesive. u can buy that at your local hardware store for ~$5. then maybe cover that epoxied area with a silicone based adhesive and the wrap it all up in ductape. and then when u clamp it all together. more ductape. remember, this pipe will recieve the boost right off the turbo so i would reccomend staying out of your boost range if ur just trying to get home.

^all that's kinda unnecessary. For the temporary time being, just duct taping it will be ok.

if its a crack ging around the hose rather than up and down, wrap it with duct tape or electrical tape and then put a hose clamp around it to keep the pressure from forcing open the crack. that should be fine to get you to work and back.

Sorry about the pic, there is a peice missing about an inch by an inch on the other side of the pipe. I guess there is nothing i can really do. I want to go to NE2K7 and need this pipe.

Duct tape FTW. Lots of it, get a metal pipe left over from a muffle shop and rig it in there would be even better than the tape.

Bro take that pipe off bring it to autozone on 30th and see what they have that you can match it with a metla pipe even if you have to cut it up alittle bit, so what. it will work may not be the best looking ic pipes but if that was what you wanted you would just buy a complete hard pipe kit.

Ok, then just cut out the piece that is blown, cut off both ends and put a metal pipe in there from home depot and clamp the shit out of it.
