Need Help!!!!!

Okay one of my fog light went out and i replace it with the correct type and the fog light still won't turn on. Also one of my rear light went out and i also replace it but now every time i step on the brake my dash light turns on and my clock light dims even when my key is not in the ignition. when i take out the replace rear light bulb the dash light doesn't turn on and clock does not dim. can anyone help me?????:1zhelp:

Assuming the other one works, I'll also assume that the fuse is good. Try checking for power and a good ground at the wires.

As for your rear light problem, check for corrosion on the bulb sockets, and pull out the lamp failure box located behind/under the driver's side tail light. It's usually yellow. Pop it open and check for corrosion. Do you have any leaks in the rear of your car? Has it rained there lately?

I say your car is possessed...lol. On a serious note it could be that some carbon dust (horn) transferred around the electrical leads (switch) inside the steering Colum.

no the other one doesn't turn on either even thought is a good one. i went looking for burnt fuses i came across one (15a LH) under the hood, i replaced it yesterday and today it went out.

In the spirit of checking the obvious, did you make sure you have a dual filament bulb, aka the correct one. I say this because one time I put a single filament bulb in my old 68 Chevelle SS and when I pressed the break peddle the front turn signals would come on..... It took me a while to figure that one out....
