its time for me to make more hp and im stuck on 2 turbo that i want.....the hks t51r and the gt-47....which one of these makes more hp and can be very useful on the 1jz...planning on running singles......looking at at least 650 plus hp....is it a good idea or no...i need help on this...thanks

Those turbos are FUCKING HUGE, and overkill for 650whp on anything but pump gas. That looks to be a horrible idea, look for something smaller like a 67mm, It will get you to your goal.
yea those turbos are too big, you should only use those if you are planning for around 1000hp. try something like the garrett gt4094r, gt4088r, pt66, or pt67
well...i like how the t51r spool but i heard they lag a lot and the gt47 are like great but dont have that much nice of a antisurge housing...but looking at 1000hp is great but its too high for me...im looking at like at least a 11 sec car...that should do my trick.....any advice for me...how bout...whats gonna happen if i put in a t51r onto my 1jz...could anything possibly happen bad??
you like how the t51r spools, but heard they are laggy? so you like a laggy turbo? if so go ahead and use it. but yes those turbos are gonna be laggy thats probably the only bad thing thats gonna happen. oh the other bad things thats gonna happen if buy that t51r is your gonna be broke man.
if you want about 650hp and run 11's i would suggest something more like an sp63 or sp67. sp63 will get you into the 11's with nice spool, and good response for a nice daily driver. also gonna save your bank account.
wotm turbos? they just sell innovative, and the sound performance (sp) turbos that i mentioned to you
For the turbo, I would look at Precision Turbo.
they offer the GT40-88 with a .81 T4 housing, and the GT40-88R in a .86 T4.
I ran the 40-88 on my 1JZ, it hit full spool about 4500. It was a little laggy for my tastes, but came on like a freight train.

I will sell you a turbo setup that will get you to the 11s, make ~550whp (as done on a 7m with the same turbo). Should see full boost close to 3500 and possibly less with a standalone. PM me if you want more info.
