need help with posible short!!!!!

ok so i just got a new cd player to replace the stock one, so i am able to hook up my amp and subwoofer.

i can not get the cd player to turn on because when i turn the key to the acc position i loose power from the battery constant 12v, and there will be power to the accessory switched 12v wire. as soon as i turn it to the off position i get 12v back to the battery wire. why would it be doing this?

my fuel pump also does not turn on when i put it to the acc position and they might be linked.

thanks for any help, realy need to fix this asap!!!!!!!!!!!

The fuel pump only runs while cranking the car, and running, not supposed to run when you just turn the key on

i thought it was supposed to at least prime, but not run.
