There are several people in Florida and near Jax, I can't vouch for any of them though haha. Check out the Florida section. I'm in Jax, but I haven't dealt with any high HP stuff, just currently building my somewhat stock GE engine. But I'd be glad to help out as much as I can-with what I DO know (which isn't a hell of a lot when compared to the resources available on this site lol).

When you say you want someone who knows the engine well, it sounds like your saying you want someone to help you build it up, with advice on specs and parts. While there probably are people in Florida that can help you with that aspect, your absolute best bet is to do your own research on the topic, contact a couple engine builders/vendors on the site (give them some business lol), and ask any questions you have on the forum.
Then just get us Florida people to help you with whatever else you need help with :p

Iirc there is a florida supras site right?

Might be best to find a good machine shop. Have them do the actual rebuiild of the bottom end or the whole long block then either you or you and a friend do the rest as far as installing and such.

Also how much money you working with? Rough guesstimate. As its going to take atleast 5k to get a 7m to 5-600hp properly.

If i remember correctly.

Also if your trying to save money you need to deciede what you need and what you want. Also what could you get used for half the price.

^^ I second that, you can, at the very least, find "new" stuff open box for a bit less than full retail. Much better, save yourself a good 50-100 bucks easy by doing that :)

Just a suggestion, but maybe you could get in contact with Titan motor sports down in Orlando and ask them what machine shop(s) they use...I'm sure they might have a couple suggestions on that seeing as how they do some work on Supras.
