need help with cooling

I think that thermostat is too cold. You're probably running rich.

OEM is like 190? but yeah, he is wasting fuel...

i would check the thermostat, and also check the rad cap.
pressurize the system and see if you have any leaks that only show up under high pressure.

i had a similar problem,
1; my thermostat was rusted shut due to mixing 50/50 coolant and water

2; solution---, i bought a 160 degree thermostat with new seal, this thermostae opens early and keeps the open till the temp is leveled or lower
3; i emptyed out and flushed the radiator, jacked up the car in the back and purged the block, i completely washed out all the shit that was in there and when i was done i want and got some prestein all antifascist and fulled her up and from then on there she never did again, and if that dosent work and u dont have any leak, well then it might be ur head, and if it is, i wld pull that motor out and swap for a jdm 1.....

this one is a jdm one and ive tryed three rad caps and 2 thermastats.

and the cap dont purge the system til i run it at high temp for a min or til shut it off at a high temp but under regular temp it works fine.

I had the same problem with my mk3 2jz-gte. The problem was the head gasket, it leaked exhaust to cooling water. So with slow driving it was "okey", but on a little boost she got hot just like that. Try to measure CO in your cooling water, if there is any, problem found:icon_bigg
