Hi guys, I'm in the process of relocating my battery into the rear with a cutoff switch and I'd like to rewire my fuel pump as well. I've found some diagrams that X-man posted which are helpful, but I need some help with the wiring itself. How did you guys go about doing it? Much appreciated. Thanks.

I will tap directly off the battery in the back
I will add a fuse or CB inline with it
I will use the old fuel pump power wire for energizing the new fuel pump relay between the battery & fuel pump

if you want to remove the factory relay and resistor, feel free. Otherwise, leave it. It acts as a turn on lead for the new relay and even when it steps up or down won't affect the new setup.

Yep but i would do the fuel mode remove the resister and the FP voltage switching relay in the engine bay of the car.
Jumper the apropriate wires and stow the connector in the fender less parts cleaner engine bay weight reduction etc...

You have to do this mod because if you send only 6 volts (half the voltage needed to energize the rear relay for your pump then it wont pick up or chatter the contacter etc.

True, I guess some relays may be more sensitive than others. My relay didn't seem to care in testing one way or the other, even while switching.
