I have a NA 7mge car and the dipstick tube is damaged which is causing a leak. Is the tube hard to remove? I want to replace it and the dipstick with new ones. If there are any special tricks or anything please let me know ASAP. Thanks guys.

Ok guys still need help. I got a replacement dipstick tube from Toyota and from the top it looks like it is a bolt type deal that just screws in to keep pressure on the dipstick tube. But it looks just like a press fit with a bolt peice on the tube to rotate it once the tube is in. I don't want to take the oil pan off so how should I get it off?
Here's a pic of the dipstick tube it's part# 11452. Notice how it looks like it threads in but there are actually no threads on it. It's just a press fit with a hex head to rotate it.

Ya you just pull and turn and it will come out.

Ok any recommendation on specifics to do? Screwdriver in hole use vise grips to grab? Wobble back an forth or try to twist it? Also should I use any rtv when putting the new one in? And about that how should I put the new one in(specifics). Sorry for so many questions. Just want to do it right and not screw the new tube up when trying to push it in.

seriously dude? just unbolt it and yank the old one out. shine a flashlight down there and put the new one in and twist it back and forth as you apply pressure and it'll go in! it's magic.
