What lip is it?

Depending on lip style id try to use only 1 self tapping screw on each side and thats it. Or maybe some 3m double stick tape on the front.

I used to have 1 in front of each fog light and 1 on each side by the fender liner. Now i just have the ones on the sides and the lip seems to hold up much better now being able to move. That and i have 4 or 5 cracks and its still holding good.

If its one that just mounts to the bottom of the bumper and not kinda hug it, id just use 4 self tapping screws and some 3m double stick tape.

Wouldnt use jb weld or duct tape tho.

I drilled holes and bolted mine on, so I can take it off when needed, I also didn't use any tap and left the center section to flex up and down so that when I drive down a steep incline it will flex when it hits the ground.

nah drill holes through both the lip and the bumper in 6 to 8 spots from corner to corner. there are clips you can buy that slide over the bumper holese and have threads that will take a 10mm bolt im sure you can get at auto zone, or just use bolts and nuts with big washers... ive installed many of these and if you want it to stay on after rubbing curbs etc. thats the way to go. it will still flex so dont worry about that.
