With so many choices out there i would like to hear what the community will think. The body will stay stock, ill be lowering the car with Illumina II shocks and RS*R Race Springs. I would like to keep the old school 80's look, but heres what im looking at now. Im sure there are other threads out there like this and if it needs to be locked i understand.

Only problem is finding these autostrada's

Does anyone else have an idea of what kind of rims can keep the old school look of the car?

Please post thanks.

Heres a picture of my car to help.

I considered Momo Stars:

do you have the momo stars? i used to have them but when i moved, and all my stuff was destroyed by a hurricane, they were lost in the debris. i still have the leather pouch with momo on it and the momo tool to take off the center lug.
mine were 16x8 with polished lip and painted inside to match my car. those rims were really light with no tire and fit very nicely although i didn't know the backspacing

I only have seen one in person. I think the Modena will suit the pre-89 look and keeps the old school theme. But either wheels will look nice.

Have you even seen it before?

Didn't think so.

Actually there is a 87/88 exactly like that a couple of miles away which has been sitting on the same driveway for more than two years now - Always toyed with the idea of knocking on his door and offering him a wad o cash for it.

I think it was the second A70 I ever saw in the metal. :)

Congrats...that makes 2. I've never seen one in those colours on here before and never in person either. It's probably about as rare as the two tone brown/beige.

I think the BBS wheels belong on E30 BMW's. The Autostrada's are a old school wheel for sure but I bet they would be hard to find in the right sizes. I saw a set that would fit not too long ago on www.rbwheels.com. I would check there for more ideas on wheels. Good luck.

Paint Job? Its a factory color probably rarer than your 92 Supra

If you only care about your car being rare then rock it, but I like the car to look 1/2 ways decent. That color combo is hideous. Maybe if the darker was on the bottom it would look better, but wtf was toyota thinking with that.
