Need help asap with window

I need to know if it's possible to raise the window if there isn't any power. The bat is dead and possible wiring mess, but the window is down and it's raining. Lets also assume the motor for the window is toast. Can i manually raise the glass? There must be a procedure...

Not easily. You can try applying 12v directly to the motor and it should move. It's not that common for our window motor to fail, I'd suspect relays, fuses, wiring before I suspected motor, so try the 12v to motor first.

thanks for the ideas guys. There is a garbage bag on it right now, and we just got the hardest storm in like all year ahaha so we'll see if the interior is a pool now :biglaugh: Which wire is + and - bishop? One is red and the other is green i think.

go with what bishop said, he has first class experience with that problem from one of my supras, put power directly to the motor, my problem was a 30 amp relay in the driver kick panel

I think if it is 2 wires to the motor only, then apply power to red and ground to green. If it goes down instead of up, then reverse the power to green and ground to the red wire to get it to go up...
