If money is no object...., go kevlar. I'm saving up for one next summer.

But stay away from your local comercial parts houses and get a good one.
It'll cost more but they pay for themselves in spaids. The TRD stage 2's are only 400 bucks.

I got into a bind last summer and slapped on o'reillys oem clutch and it works fine it's just not enough clutch for the car especially if your ride is a toy and a grociery getter.

You should also check out www.horsepowerfreaks.com Dial ext.103 and speak to Dave.
He knows his stuff. Digging up part numbers for what you find in the site is a huge benefit to you and whomever you deal with.

Centerforce Dual Friction has worked very well for me... (since I converted from an A/T to the R154...)

Similar to STOCK clutch pedal "feel" with NO SLIPPAGE EVER that I can tell... no left leg "cramping" under heavy traffic... great "engagement" feedback as well, I think... (although you DO hear the little "jiggling" of the "weights" on the pressure plate ring... when the clutch is engaged... even at idle in neutral... no bother to me as I've grown accustomed to it...)

...then again... I'm only pushing a little over ONE atmosphere of pressure... at the MOMENT, and I have no experience with OTHER good brands...

i have a w58 heavy duty pressure plate not sure about the tq specs but i can say that it grabs very well and i was happy with it. I have been running 14psi and i love it. I am willing to sell it because I wont be using it anymore since i am going to use the r154. Its barely used ..... A friend of mine owns a clutch company that makes custom clutches. I am willing to let it go for pretty cheap and i can get a you a GREAT deal on 6 puck ceramic disc. The setup will hold way more power than you can run throw that w58 plus the disc are the same for the w58 and r154.

I think I will. The clutch has reached critical. I grind the SHIT out of it trying to get into reverse, and as a last resort, I've been clutchless shifting to squeeze a few more days out of it, if it'll even last that long.

I think I'm going to get stuck driving Dad's shoebox until a new clutch comes.

Actually... you're not going to believe this.

The Slave was BONE DRY. I filled it up with Napa dot 3 (only stuff I had laying around in the shop), pumped the pedal about 50 times with the engine running, and now it only feels like a worn clutch.

As opposed to, an "OH SHIT I CAN'T START FROM A RED" feel that I had just earlier this day, where I literally had to SHOVE it into gear from a stop. (For the shifting itself, I very carefully clutchless-shifted.
