i know exactly what rims your talking about, and i think it would look really nice actually... especially since they would be black and the lip would be the same color as the car...
and if you wanted to, those "lips" are just pressed in tin and you can pull them out and have a "blacked out" rims... or if you have bronze ones you can have a "bronzed out" rim...

i've seen like one set of copper plated rims and they look great but like no one sells them you'd have to get them plated and coated. but the color is like a cross between the bronze and gold an djust looks SICK
