You need paragraphs.
Yes this has been discussed about 1-2 weeks ago.
Some agree with you, some don't, its your decision. :)

It's a big decision. When I was a kid, my Dad had a 92 Supra Turbo, Targa, 5SPD, 40K Miles. He was in the same situation as you. My mom used to talk about buying a house and whatnot, and she wanted him to sell the Supe. We did sell it, and we still never got a house. Other things came up, we sold her in about 1996, and we got a house in 2003. That just goes to show you that my Dad sold his baby and didn't even get what was planned. To this day, he still regrets selling that car. Now I'm 18 and I have one. I got her on my 16th birthday from my Dad. It was bought as a project car, Beaten to shreds interior wise but the body was ok. Its taken me 2 yrs to get where I am at, partially because I wasnt working for a while. I'll show you some pics of when I got her, and some pics of now. I hope it helps you make your decision. It's all about the love for the car. If you've got the same feeling I've always had about Supras, dont let her go.

Yes, I was in your exact situation. Only I wanted to get a house. I knew I could always come back to my Supra. It was really hard though cause I came up with roughly $14000 by closing time, and I was itching to fix up the Supra. Well, here I am five years later in my house with the Supra still in the garage. I do have my engine in the machine shop though, so I'm finally getting up and going. I also have a '69 Plymouth Roadrunner next to it too (my project car).

Warning... when you buy your house you are going to spend alot more money on it than your car the first couple of years. Your wife is going to want new furniture, landscaping, small renovations here and there (if it's an existing home), water softner, decorate every room (again and again), tile or wood floors....... and the list goes on. Your money will be going to Home Depot, Lowes, Garden Ridge Pottery, various furniture stores, and the local nursery.

And then she'll begin nesting. Picking out colors for the babies room. The baby crib and matching furniture. Wow... it's been a long journey for me. But it's worth the ride. Life comes at you fast.
