How hard is it to change valve cover on 1JZ? Is the valve covers 2 seperate ones like a 7m? any advice would be appreciated ( mine is broke on the drivers side in the back where the last bolt holds it down) thank you

Very easy to change. Remove the top Coil plug cover ( Allen bolts)

The valve covers are a two piece design. It is easier to remove from the head if you take off the throtlle linkage/ so you can lift it straight up.

What's up man? It is very similiar to the 7M. But, a lot easier. You have to loosen the coils though. Easy though.

It's the vent between the 2 valve covers. Like I said, just loosen the coil bolts and the valve cover bolts and pull them up and off. One thing to look out for it the black wire covers for the wires to the coils. Mine were deteriorating (sp?) and some got down in the valve area and I had to get the pieces out.
