WOW, very impressive. I'm sure you and your dad will both smile every time you glance at the finished product.

His dad drove it down the road and the hood flew up and is now fubar'd. He's found another one that he is trying to buy and then repaint before the supra meet on the 25th. I'll call him today and tell him that he needs to update this thread.

Sorry for the extremely long time between updates. Started another semester at college, and since it's football season and I'm working, don't really got time to go home on the weekends. But we have got some more stuff done!

I would say she's practically finished now! I have driven her numerous times now, and she runs and drives like a dream! Except that TT maf. Makes her run PIG rich. lol. But that's all good. I bought a brand new NA maf, that should be in any day now, if it's not already. So once that gets to the house, it will be swapped on, and she should be running even better! No drive-ability problems really with the TT maf except gas mileage absolutely blows! hahah. Not to mention the rear bumper being black once you get home ;)

But yeah, I also bought the new taillight, which looks so much better than that busted up one that was on there. So now, the only thing needed to be 100% done is some hood latches and a new hood :( You see I have been having a hard time tracking down some hood latches, so we've just been strapping the hood down for now if we wanted to drive it anywhere, and it's been fine. Until the other day when dad drove it, and used a different strap for some odd reason. Well that strap broke, and the hood flew up!!!! AHHHHH!!! THANKFULLY, it didn't bust the windshield or do any other damage really. It did put 2 barely noticeable dents in the targa a couple more small ones behind the targa on the roof. But as of when I left to come back down here yesterday, the roof was already in primer ready for paint. So she'll be good as new in no time! But the hood is trashed now. My perfectly good, in amazingly good shape hood, now garbage. Oh well, dad felt super bad about it, and is gonna get me a replacement! Which I believe I have located, so no worries! Should have it on and painted in a couple weeks and I will get some more pics!

But in the mean time, I will be purchasing the rest of the parts I need for the 6-speed swap. I just bought a twin disk clutch setup for her the other day!!! heck yeah! I have also located both driveshaft pieces that I need, so as soon as I can, I will be getting those, and then it will pretty much just be little tid bits left in order for her to be a 6-speed!!! She's a blast to drive auto, but it's gonna be amazing when I can drive her 6-speed! Then it will be turbo, turbo, turbo!!!

I have also already purchased a set of TT valve covers and spark plug cover for her when I go with a FFIM. So she is slowly but surely getting there! Anyways, on to what ya'll have all been waiting for! Pictures!!! And even a little teaser vid of her running ;)

Here are couple pics I snagged with my Iphone a few weeks ago when the front bumper and hood were still black and the front lip wasn't on the car. Here you can see where we shaved the side marker lights on the front bumper. Wait til you see it painted! Looks amazing!

Now some better pics with my digital camera. Didn't that front bumper turn out amazing!?!?! This has been the step IMO that really set the car off and made it look complete again! That front lip back on the car, helped the appearance way more than I thought it was til I put it back on there. I love how the car looks now!

Alright getting some bondo down. Like I said, this is already been sanded and in primer, so it's ready for paint and might even be painted now as I type this.

fan shroud? We don't need no stinking fan shroud.............:biglaugh:

Car sounds great Keylan. It reminds me of the little hesitation mine has when I rev it up. I've got to find out what that is. Yours revs up instantly and mine takes a deep breath and then does it...............:aigo:

Ha! My dad put that fan on there for now. I'm ditching it ASAP! I don't care how good the stock fan and shroud combo works, 2 electric slim fans looks a bajillion times better. Will be ordering them this week most likely to have them in time for the supra meet!
