godspeed has a website do they not? if it wasn't from ebay I'd trust it. Ebay has a lot of knock-off stuff. But I was looking into sway bars from the godspeed website. Saves me about 60$ which will be spent of shipping if I was to order ST sway bars from any other website.

Even though they have a website doesn't mean it isn't ebay crap. It's just like cxracing, the market their parts on eBay also, god speed is all china that's why it is so cheap which attracts the kids becuase the see oh wow big turbo for 599$? ill take it. And about 2 miles later the turbo is out! Lol excuse my exaggeration

Im just sketchy about buying a used turbo, kinda like buying used brake pads IMO becuase the owner can easily lie about te abuse how it only saw 10psi but really he was running daily at 18. You neer that when you buy it the seals could go out on you within a mile.
Id suggest buying it new just like anything highly mechanical on this car.
parts like piping an sensors and stuff that's ok used but a turbo isa no to me.
Cheap, reliable, fast.
Pick two it's your choice.

Good point Bryan, I still have mine running strong, but i just hate waiting lol. That's why I have not sent it off yet. I've thought about buying a built one already and fixing mine up and reselling it...if its worth doing that.

Not really unless you know the person who built it was really god at building and made sure everythig was right and didnt beat it or else you'll just run into a world of problems you won't wanna fix. Becuase it isn't fun. I've realized everything on thi car takes longer than expected. Im going t4 right now, bought everything I needed to install it and thought I could get it done in a week, it's been two weeks now and still trying to get the downpipe made so the turbo isn't even on lol. Trust me I hate waiting too. But it's worth wait becuase in the end it'll be better than buying something enjoy it for a little then something goes wrong then you have to wait again.

it's totally up to you, but i'm not comfortable spending $500 on a used turbo. i'd rather have a cx racing or godspeed upgraded one for less $.
my plan is to get a 57 trim from albert. shoot him a pm, he may have something for you.

So I kept researching on the difference between a 57 & a 60-1 or even a 60 if I'm correct. Supposably I've read that the 57 would be a better choice....? Would you or any of you guys be able to clear that up for me a little? The differences?

i have read some threads that say the 60-1 isn't reliable. however, maybe the way they are built now proves more reliable.
from what i've read, the 57 trim or billet 58? trim is a better choice.
most people will tell you to go with an adapter and a t4 due to the many choices there are out there.
i would definitely talk to albert or aaron at driftmotion.

Alright thanks for the input man. I'ma keep looking around through the forums and I'll talk to them so I can learn a little bit more. And yea I've heard about the T4 adapters. I've though about doing that as well, but maybe not with the 7M if I go out of the CT26 I'll just end up swapping the motor out with a bigger turbo.

my tuner got 430 wheel hp out of a stock 7m. it had a t4 adapter with a precision turbo, and megasquirt. i think the stock injectors were maxed out, so he stopped there.

Nice, these 7m do hold their own. I've just been having a problem with the fuel cut off (if it that is what I'm having a problem with) and I would love a bigger turbo, but the way my account is set up lol I not able to afford one just yet.

bigger turbo won't help your fuel cut off in any way. Bigger injectors with a lexus afm and a bigger fuel pump with a nice tune will allow quite a bit more power without fuel cut. Fuel upgrades would be neccesary before a bigger turbo as you won't be able to run the boost you want to until you get more fuel and air in there.

lol.
i was hitting fuel cut all the time, even without a boost controller. i added a lex afm, and 600cc injectors and i can run 16psi with no issues. i'm still on a tired ct26, but i really want a billet 58 from albert. i'd like to see what i can get out of this thing. :)

Yea that's what I've been told to go with the Lexus MAF, walbro 255 fuel pump and 550cc inject with a tune to start it off and I should be good until I start doing internal stuff.

Sorry to correct you but it's an AFM we don't have a MAF. Also, a boost controller has nothing to do with fuel cut, it simply controls boost and nothing else. Fuel cut isn't determined by how much boost you're running. With the lex/550s you can hit 450 or more without fuel cut but keep in mind when building car always build it to handle more power than you run if you want reliability, tune being one of the most important parts.

All good Bryan, that's why I'm here to learn lol. And yea I've been trying to understand that whole fuel cut off deal. As far as doing a tune, do you guys know of any supra shops in Texas? I'm pretty sure Houston would have a few, but for some reason I don't trust my car driving that far. (About 4.5 hours in Texas weather and especially that Houston traffic)

Idk why people feel that supras need a "supra" shop if they tune take it there. It's their job. It's all about getting the afr correct across the board, same for every car. I mean of course little things here and there are different but performance shops can tune anything. Just like people think we require a special shop to do machine work becuase we have a supra. If it's a machine shop that's good at at it they can do it.

We have a shop about an hour away that's worked on my friends Lightning's, 5.0 (Fox & coyotes) and cobras. They've told me to go try him out see if he'll work on the Supra.

He should i mean they aren't complicated to tune or anything especially with a piggy back. Just takes someone who knows what they're doing and a dyno jet
