I ripped a bunch off a friends camcorder and I want to split the videos apart into different files. I was using Windows Movie Maker to rip, but I can't seem to figure out how to split them and save them. Any other good programs ( free ) out there?

windows movie maker: Ctrl+L to split where the the curser is. You should be able to do all your basic cutting, splitting, saving with WMM...might want to make sure you have the latest version though.
I figured that out, I even had them split the way I wanted on the bottom part of the screen, but I couldnt get them saved into the seperate files!
