Pressure isn't the issue. It's a little thing called flow ;)
Most people on here wouldn't have that issue. But that doesn't change the fact that the bov won't hold any amount of power.

I agree with you on the mounting ring, but the sound can easily be changed by just removing the whistle.

There is also a fine line w/ the tial bov letting out SO much air between shifts that spool is lost. I had to shim my tial to gain response.

true, the BOV though is rated by hp. it takes a specific amount of pounds per minute of air to make 500 hp, and the BOV has to let that out when you shift.

Thats why it's rated by hp.

Correction: when the throttle body closes.

2 SSQV's would work (it's been down quite a few times), and the sound isn't that bad (someone cut the whistle part out of the center on theirs, got rid of the high pitched whistle). I wonder how 2 different inserts in each one woul sound, much like most horns have 2 different tones that combine...

You don't have to cut the insert out of a SSQV. They are meant to be interchangable with the gold and purple insert. Take off the outside casing of the BOV, remove insert, put casing back on. Tada! No more annoying SSQV sounds. ;)
