Well, I went to Vancouver today to test out the shifter in Grimjack's car.

He will be testing the beta version until I take it back from him - sorry Dave LOL.

I say the test worked out great, I hope Dave will chime in here and there about what he think's but so far, it's great I find.

Here is the vid we made, it got kinda late cause we were at the BIC shop for a bit but randy is the shit so it was worth it (PS Thanks for letting me use some of your tools)

I come from a land down under
LOL Tard ;)

Mine used to buzz around 110 Kph if you didn't rest your hand on the shifter.
(PITA as that's the speed limit here)

This was with 4.3 diff gears so about 3100 rpm Dave.

the throw looks super short. do you have any pics with the shifter boot and everything on it?
Not yet. Nash asked me to keep the boot off during testing so I can adjust it easily, otherwise I'm likely to set it once and never change it during the test period. :)

If I find the guys who warned him I'm lazy, I'm going to BAN 'em! ;)

To be honest, it feels like a short shifter. I've used the original Nash, and I've tried the Cs and the S2. This feels nicer than the Cs and about the same as the S2. It has a massive advantage over the S2 in the adjustability department, of course.

Oh, and it's worlds above the old SOGI mod. :D I drove with just that for years.

Is sogi then reallllly soooo bad? :) I mean...how much win is there actually. It seems to me, that pressing clutch in takes the most time, as the hand moves pretty quickly anyways...or?
Hard to miss gears? Or hard to miss for a ''pro''?

I'm guessing it won't buzz like a Sogi due to the leverage from the offset handle acting as a counterweight ;)
Looks like it. I spent some time today cruising in every gear at a wide range of RPMs, no buzzing at all.

Well, except for when the shift knob came off early in the day! ;) I guess we didn't tighten that down very well yesterday.
