Thanks for all the responses! So now I'm down to three: the BFG's, the Generals (I didn't have them listed because they were on back order when I made the list from tirerack), and the Falkens (not the 512 apparently :p).

Anyone have any suggestions on where to buy tires online? Tire rack doesn't carry Falkens, and the Generals are on back order.

I can search the internet for stores to buy from, that's not a problem. I was asking more for stores that people have bought from and would trust again. Thanks for the faster-than-forums response though :).

452's all round here ;)

If you decide to choose 452's, compared to the 451's they run slightly larger shoulders. Compared to my old set of Yokohama AVS, the 452's were significantly smaller overall in size.

275 35 18 - 452 similar to 255 35 18 Yokohama AVS(fronts at the time.)

I believe I should have went 295 35 18 with the 452's, if Falkein makes them in this size.

Wait, so the 451's have slightly larger shoulders and the 452's have small shoulders compared to other tires? Has anyone else noticed this?

I went ahead and went with the BFG g-force sports. I'll definitely make a post in the parts review section once I try them out for a bit (and a follow up on how long they last). Thanks everyone.

dunlop does make some good tires...i liked the ones i had on the supra before. the khumos i had were nice too. can't remember for the life of me what model they were though which sucks b/c they gripped pretty good. the set of pirellis i had i went through in about 6 months. i had a little too much fun w/those. lol

i do like my bfg's though...did a little playing w/the car tonight. my b/f was sitting in the passenger seat asking what got into me. i need to go for a long drive SOON. lol

I went with the G-Force's as well on my Miata. Havent driven it much since, but its a much better car than the Kumho 712 Supras I had on it before, which I got for the Supra.

225/50/16 from the Supra doesnt work well on Miatas, but I dont know how well 205/40/16s will work if I put them on the Supra. I have plenty more traction actually with these 205s, most likely because of the sidewalls and much newer tire than the 712s that were 3 years old.
