I could scrape it If I need to, but not yet... i'm 99% sure it had that 'gold' / bronze coating, same as the bracket the igniter mounts too

A/C Condenser is the first thing I thought, but no match in the EPC, other behind the bumper parts very possible location as well, but still not finding anything in the EPC!

Still could be the ECU bracket, infact looking at the EPC it appears the only moderately close match, so I'll try that out tomorrow afternoon, as well as get more pictures with a size reference if it doesn't match up.

I appreciate all the help guys, this is definitely the most interesting part identification thread I've ever seen

i know its in your build thread for the most part but what have you taken apart? aside from the engine bay, as far as i can tell it aint from there, i scoured my engine bay for it and nothing.

My guess is the right side Intercooler upper mount, Im usually really good at this but I haven't disassembled that many MKIII's

I think that's the bracket that holds your blinker fluid reservoir...

i looked through my cache of parts and couldnt find it, although i did find my long lost circlip pliers..so thanks:biglaugh:

Bad news guys, It's not a ECU bracket, all mine are still on the ECU as I originally believed, the hunt continues! Still leaning heavily towards A/C assembly, but no clue where it fits in
