Yellow my car blew it's turbo and i couldn't find any turbo to replace it and it was my only car so i just removed the turbo and installed an n\a exhaust manifold and it ran great a little rich but not too bad and then again the engine blew a hg and after that rod knock so i decided to rebuilt i had to replace the pistons so i went and bought ge pistons cause i couldn't find gte ones and i don't have a turbo so i would need the extra compression to help my car a bit until i find a turbo so technicly the car now is a ge running on complete gte electronics so i guess you can run a ge on cps/coil with a turbo ecu and i don't have an explination but after i went with the ge pistons the car ran great no rich.

say what?

wow, there is some crazy info being spit out in here. If you want a definitive answer on what you need to turbo your NA then you should check some of my old posts. I've got my JDM motor pretty much ready to drop in at this point, so Ive been there done that.

And it is possible with the stock headgasket to a point as long as its torqued down properly. I forgot dudes name, but he is running around NA-T w/ GE electronics for like 2 yrs on the stock gasket and its not only holding together but its reliable. Its also possible to turbo the car w/o the GTEs electronics. Hell it would be much easier and more reliable to go straight from GE electronics to GE electronics w/ a maf-t (properly tuned of course) than buying GTE electronics. Max boost would not be limited to 8psi, the turbo motors and the NA motors internals are both made from the same materials, so I dont see the NA motor being less capable of making power in the neighborhood of 500whp with the stock internals like the turbo motor, it would just require very careful tuning. Besides, even the honda boys with their 10.5:1 compression ratio have been known to run more than 8 psi on their stock internals (which are of lesser quality than ours). Here click this link and read, this definitely shows what the NA motor is capable of done right, just keep in mind that the maf-t wasnt available for our cars at the time.

And from what Ive heard the stock CT isnt efficient past 14-15psi after that point your just blowing hot air and asking for either a blown motor or turbo.
