Way to rain on his parade... jeez.

This is a total guess but to be good and safe... 12 lbs is probably good on a CT.

congrats!! I cant wait till I do mine(spring-ish). I like the way you situated the coilpacks.

EDIT: and 12lbs is probly the highest you'd wanna go, I'm probly going to 9-10, just to keep it safe

Good job! So your running NA pistons in that? If thats the case I wouldn't go over 12psi. What are your Headstuds torqued to?

Looks good and clean. Welcome to the NA>T ranks.
Watch the down shifts on the turbo. It behaves a lot different than the NA.
Why did you go with the NA upper intake mani?

Looks like you got all new hoses. I didn't and had vaccum leaks.
Do you have the NA TB to go along with the mani?
You do have the turbo fan right? The NA fan has less fins and doesn't draw as much air. It could be problems in hot climate.

Again, looks good. Congrads.

You down shift to let the engine brake, especially in corners, so when you exit the corner, the engine RPM is in the lower power band and not way down at idle. That way when you throttle up, you'll be in the engine power band.

OK, so I guess most daily drivers don't to this unless you live in the mountains or ricky race around town.

So here's what happens.

When you down shift in an NA you give it a little throttle to bring the engine RPMs up to match the lower gear as you let the clutch out. On a turbo, when you do this and you leave your foot on the throttle as the RPMs come up the turbo also spools up. Instead of down shifting and expecting the engine to brake, you get a jolt of power. So on a turbo, you brake more and drop the clutch at lower RPMs. Also you'll notice on a turbo, when the turbos spooled up, the throttle behaves differently than when the turbos not spooled up.

You'll find out.

Actually, (and I know someones gonna flame me for this) the N/A manifold has been shown to flow better then the turbo manifold.
This makes turbo guys pissed cause they like to be superior to us little NA<T guys.

They get especially pissed when you race them and hand them their asses. I have done this several times and it never fails...they can't believe they were beat by an NA/T.

p.s. flame suit on

I went with the turbo TB and upper intake.
The TB is different. I don't know if its better, so I just went with it.
I agree that the NA intake would be better. But you probably can't tell.

I'm using the NA intake on my na-t. A friend of mine has the exact same setup as me, except his car is a turbo car and he has a 3 inch intercooler with hardpipes. We dynoed one after the other at 18psi. I dynoed 368 and he dynoed 358 on the same day. Was it the NA intake? I don't know.... Just food for thought. :biglaugh:
