this car has a special value to me and that's why I'm spending the extra money right now on internals.
What would I expect to boost on this set up? I don't want to get the electronics just yet becasue I don't want to hassle with all of that right now.

if your going to run ross pistons, aren't those lower compression pistons? (8.4:1) if so, then you just converted your n/a into turbo status, minus the oil squiter's, so you will run into detenation stoping you from boosting as high as stock turbo set up, but thats just theory that i know of, idea is the oil squiters do keep the pistons cooler keeping detenation from occuring during long drives while boosting at stock psi,
my question is, if you prep the n/a block correctly for a mhg, and still run the n/a pistons, at what point do you have to run race fuel to avoid detenation?
also would be running on turbo electronics and drilling the turbo knock sensor's in the block.
i am going to swap an 7m into my celica, and it wont need high boost nor an upgraded turbo to drift the light shell, but would be nice to make the most power on stock stuff..
