No offense meant, but spending alot on an N/A is pointless! You can get 7M-GTE's (JDM motors) for fairly cheap, and with virtually no mods, other than turning the boost up a little, blow the freakin' doors off an N/A! You still have the sound, and torquey feel of the 7M, just with larger balls! The sky is the limit on HP with the GTE, whereas, the N/A is very expensive to take past 250whp. I've spent less than $5000, and I'm up around 350whp! Why stay N/A?! Once you experience boost above 12psi, you'll ask yourself why you ever spent one penny on normal aspiration!...Trust me, I was there!

Fairly cheap?? I don't think so...
Turbo motors (JDM) sells for about $1000-$1300 shipped. Plus you need harness - $125, Ignitor - $50, ECU - $75, CPS and coil pack should be included with motor, if no that's another $100. That's about $1500. That doesn't even include downpipe and other various little parts that you will need change out just because the engine is out. Not everyone has $1500+ to plunker down on an engine.

GO NAs............. When will someone dyno 250whp?.... :evil2:

Well said! Besides whats the Supra community without the Na's? I like the power of mine! As for the topic on the "intake" here is what I did last week, although it isnt a Honda intake it still works, and looks kickass.

250whp is very doubtful on a N/A since it has 200. i highly doubt you will get around 230...... cuz i know short shifter and tems and leather dont add 20whp.

I know this my be a little off topic, but I think we should go ahead and start a N/A thread started with serious serious N/A performance upgrades. I am coming in to a large sum of money in the near future and I want to take a nice portion of that and stick it into my 7m-ge. I already have a game plan laid out which includes a trip to the dyno at the dealership across from mine where I have a friend who can get me about 4 hours of free dyno time on a Sunday when no one is there. I will explain more of my plan when I get back from my meeting tonight. 250hp (and more) here I come!!

a write-up? come on, people... it's a fucking intake pipe... test fit it, modify as you see fit.

Thats what Im sayin...

OK, now for my question, in all the pics with people who got that civic intake pipe, theres a little hole near the TB on that pipe that has a vaccumm line on it, I know this same line comes off our intake pipes, mine doesnt go anywhere and I always wondered where the hell it connects to...

hahaha bro it connects either on the power steering pump or right above it, check in that area and you'll see where it goes, its a dual connector

Ill make a write up for you guys right now:

Purchase the mid 90's honda civic intake off ebay.

Throw the shitty filter out.

Put the intake pipe in your car, and see how it fits. Trimw 1-2 inches off untill it fits better.
