n/a cams = turbo cams?

i think it makes more torqe accutly, after swithcing them i was more able to break the tires just from stomping on it then before. no noticble difference above 3k tho. atleast for me.

Keep in mind if you go with NA cams...it shifts the torque/HP curve left rpm wise. That means you will hit peak HP sooner (at about 4800-5000 rpm) and it will flatten out. To over come that, you will need more boost and fuel...that's when flowing the head comes into play.

I had some cams machined for my 1jz at a custom cam shop and I asked about the 7m cams, he looked in his spec book and told me that the n/a cams had like 3 degrees more duration, which is almost nothing. He said it wouldnt be worth the work or money unless you needed to replace your cams anyway. He said maybe like a 2-5 hp gain.
