It's been brought up a hundred times...please search first. But since I'm here, all it does is shift the powerband to lower rpms, and you will loose top end power. NOT a good idea if you're planning on making more than 300-350rwhp. Just stick with the GTE cams...

Good to see another nail in the "Conventional Wisdom" coffin ;)

Way back EVERYONE said that the 7M didn't need Cams and there was little benefit/gain to be had other than switching the Intake to an NA one....

I didn't give it much thought till I came across the actual stock specs and wandered off laughing at how small they are!

There were very few choices available locally and the thought of shipping long cast iron bumpsticks from the other side of the planet didn't appeal so I found a local shop that did "Hard Face Welded" cams discussed my goals and dug through their grind book till I found some I thought would be nice.

This was a few years back now and it's nice to see some alternatives on the market.
