tonite is was a little cold so i thought it would be good to run the car so that it would be much cooler air going int the engine. it was good for power but i was spinning like crazy all down the track even in 3rd. it was 1/8th mile track. i know mine times werent crazy fast but i think it was good for a n/a.

my best run was

Reaction: .233
I1: 2.323
I2: 6.825

E.T. :10.537
MPH:69.164

let me know how slow it is:wtc: and what other n/a are doing and maybe hear from the fast turbos.lol

Went last weekend.. 1/4 mile was consistent 17.1 @ 81-83 mph 6 out of 8 runs.. My other two runs were 17.2

Automatic, Stock Exhaust, Stock intake... Should hit a sub 17 next weekend.. 91 and advanced timing, exhaust as well

Don't wait for the green, wait for the last yellow to let out the clutch and launch. ;)

That said, seems about on par with what an n/a should do. I wonder if I couldn't tow an n/a behind me and get that sort of time though haha... anyway, shouldn't this be in the racing section?

I start letting the clutch out right after the second yellow, It works pretty good for my driving style.

I made it down to 15.4 in 86.5 (1/4 mile), cool October night and warm tires, hooked and took off. I was letting out on the clutch during the last yellow light. Had the old school HKS exhaust, test pipe, and a cheap "CAI" filter on the flapper.

I have seen 1/8 mile runs, I don't like them, seems too short for me and I cant really judge a car just off a short distance.

Thats good to hear, I am also at about 2500 feet elevation so that makes it really bad... Going this next weekend with exhaust and the air-filter removed.. should see a little bit better time lol (Same weekend as SILV)

i only have a intake and a catback exhaust. ordered a header the other day then going back to the strip to see if the time changes.

im sure if i didnt spin i would have gotten a better time. but it was pretty cold think around 50 so it was pretty hard to hook up. even spun sometimes at the end of the track.
