Maybe a little but is was a tight fit to go from a q45 TB :nono: to 3" IC piping and route the piping where I wanted it. + q45 TB is WAY over kill, and needs to be replaced with a smaller 70-75 mm stang TB. Who ever says "you heed a q45 TB on your 3.0 L. engine" is lying.
<---found out the hard way.

It is way to big for its own good. Yes this winter along with the 3" cold side IC piping is getting removed to make way for 2.5" ;)

LOL. Q45 ay? Sounds familiar. Brings someone on heres name to mind.:biglaugh: He has 2.75" pipes though. I wonder what he thinks about that.

Yea, those TB's are big! I have the stock 1jz mani/tb. When I got my 3core aluminum rad, aluminum fan shroud and dual elec fans, there was no way the piping would fit right in front. So I relocated the battery to the back and routed my pipes under the head light. It works for me. But anyways going off topic i think.

^ your build thread has provided us with lots of "fuckin piece wont work" pics ;). very glad to have it!

with the battery gone, why not go through the fender there??

Because I dont like the way it looks with the IC piping routing that way. I feel, where I have it makes it look cleaner plus its the shortest way to the intercooler. More like the jz series ;)

I was in the process plugging in the dash harness and came across this lonely plug. Everything seems to be plugged in and I have no idea what this plug is used for, let alone if I even need it.

I found it! I had to go to the junkyard for reference, but apparently the mystery plug was one of plugs coming off of the same harness as 3 plugs in the same area. One plugs into the white climate control box, the other goes to the 2 wire sensor. I just grabbed the wire that was plugged into the white box, gave it a quick tug, and the missing plug popped out from where it was hidden and jammed.

Cake!

The best part, I was able to move the wires to fit so much better. I actually got the upper glove box cover on with no problem.
I can finally put the rest the glove box in now :icon_razz
