oh im sure its not the exact car lol... but its what his car is based off of... apparently they made 200 cars based on this pace car...
I gotcha man.

That's pretty unique looking. I think I like the extra Supra stickers on it. They're rare and OEM so that makes them cooler. It looks like it's in awfully nice condition. Is there anything special about the interior?

I have a feeling all of the work done to this car was done stateside and not at the factory in Japan, it has that feel to it. Toyota has done this before. Also, none of the special parts for the car are listed in the EPC. Toyota did something similar with the convertable Celicas and Supras, though at least the later Celicas did have EPC entried for the convertable.

Rare car nonetheless, but those stickers may not even have come on the car, previous owner may have added them, nobody knows for sure (yet ;))

Also, Suze, the trim you've got on that car there likely wouldn't fit 100% correctly on widebody cars I'd imagine.

I'm sure it is a 1986.5, and its not a turbo. I added the decals on the windshield and hatch as well as the spoiler. The interior is gray cloth, there's nothing special about it that I can tell, no TEMS.

Thats a beautiful car. I really like it even if it is an NA. By the way, did toyota make any other rare special edition MKiii's?

They're likely special USA part numbers, as they don't follow the normal trim name codes. They are long since discontinued of course. They probably had the place that did the cars do up a bunch of extra pieces and threw them in a warehouse somewhere.

No real way to check now, since they numbers are long since discontinued and no longer even show up in the Toyota USA parts system.
