the 350z's with the 6spd manual have bum trannys they are weak so maybe (if he knew) he was taking it easy on the trans

:3d_frown: you base that on....? transmissions on them don't really break under stock power, and even under the stress of twin turbos, i haven't heard of people having issues with them like with the subaru wrx 5spd or something. do you know what you're talking about?

hmm being a 350z owner... stock never had a problem. track visits and modding i do, but it's just a syncro in 6th gear. It doesn't like high rev shifts to 6th sometimes.

hah high revs into 6th? sure hope you have a good radar detector former 06 350Z owner here. i beat the piss out of that car as a matter of habit and the drivetrain held up like a champ. no synchro problems at all.

my 97 corolla ran in the 18s in the 1/4 so a v6 camry must be faster

well maybe it is that syncro but all the mechs at the local nissan and the one in WH have told me this so have the instructors at my school autotech student here


i wouldnt mind a 350z but cant afford one neway but as of now thats my current nissan of choice


but my next new car is gonna be a rex
