I had a lot of fun and I met a lot of new people that I've been chatting with, but never had the pleasure of meeting.

My car didn't get to enjoy much of the fun since I lost a cylinder on the way there. My car smoked like you couldn't imagine and it was killin me, but what can you do? I made it back home with it and I was very thankful of that. I didn't want to rent a tow truck for the eight hundred mile trip. I had to add a quart of oil every hundred miles, but at least we finally made it safely.

Here are some pictures I took. For some reason, it won't let me edit it, so I'll have to add some more later with a new video.

Sounds like you had fun and so did everyone else Jay! (minus the engine failure)

Jay, Jay, Jay :(

How could you let a 7M out live a JZ build? The shame, the misery....

It's my fault. I think I may have invoked some bad karma in a PM to Jay just prior to him hitting the road. I'll claim responsibility so direct all negative comments to me. Sorry Jay:ugh:

Really sorry to hear about the car Jay, the Texas meets always seem to break cars one way or another...

I didn't take pics this year really, it was more about meeting the people and having fun this year.

See you guys next year, or sooner if you go to the Austin meets!

I wished I'd known you were there. My son and I were at the Show-n-Shine. I'd like to have to met you finally. It would have been funny to meet a local guy down in Houston.

Sorry to hear of your bad luck. Didn't get a chance to meet you, but you have built an awesome Supra. :bigthumb: Will try to upload some shots I took of your car.

I just got off the phone with George. He was just getting home, and I told him I had not seen the first picture yet from Texas. Damn IT, one year I'm going to make it to this. Video and pictures make even that much harder on me, but they look really nice. I'm not the biggest MKIV fan, but that yellow one really looks good. It's not the same old parts you see on almost all of them, and it still looks good.

I hope you can do your motor as fast as the last two you just did Jay, but I know exactly how you feel on taking a break from it for a bit. Do it your way, and don't think you have to impress anybody this time. You did a great job, and your car is beautiful, nothing else to prove.

You should've seen that 1150 HP Viper on the dyno. Holy crap that was loud, and the fire that came out of the exhaust. Awesome. I'm not that huge a fan of MKIV's either but the wingless ones are damn good looking. There was only one MKI to my dismay and I didn't see any MKII's. When the MKI drove up and told the guy driving that it was about time a real supra showed up. :)

Derek (the guy who owns the MKI) is a real character..

Yes, the car is still pretty damn fast for a car of it's age, and even better is the fireball it spit on the highway!

GTS: I wasn't there very early, since Houston is our vacation we sleep in. Not sure how long you where there...

I had real low compression on the sixth cylinder. I'll get it pulled sometime this week to look at the rings. Thanks for the pictures and comments.

Johnny, I knew you were going to hook me up with some of your local houston women..........oh wait, I"m married. Damnit man!!!!!!!

I think you are definately like you are on the forums, but it's easier to be funnier in real life than on the keyboard. I'm glad I had the honor of meeting you. My life is now fulfilled and I can die happily.............:biglaugh:
