My supra's first rain..good grief!

It rained here in So Cal a few weeks ago, and now I know why there are so many topics about the targa seal. I think it rained more IN the car than it did outside. Thank goodness I had a few towels lying in the backseat:nono:

It came in on both front corners only, right at the triangle intersection of the front top edge of the window. Like stereo. But nowhere else.

Get the front and rear seals as well as the two on the targa itself. Do it all at once and save yourself a headache.

The leaks that you described are from the 2 side seals. Read this thread, just buy 2 new side seals and use lots of silicone between the drip rails andd roof panel.

now look in your hatch and see where the seals on the wing are leaking and letting water in.. fix those too

I carry blue towels to match my interior; it's the most I can do until I replace my seals..

I'm not asking about what I should do, just sharing a rain story there killjoy.

Too be honest, I bought brand new seals, changed them, and still had a lap full of water, not to mention the window switches. It's all about the caulking between the roof panel.

My seals are JUST starting to go....I can put the roof on and if I do the bolts up in the right order, it doesn't leak, but yeah. If I don't...either the driver front corner or the passenger front corner will leak. Never both....kinda weird.
