I come from a land down under
Bul: LOL <finger> you'll hurt the fat one's feelings!

Grim: There's lots of heavy duty parts in my car and it all adds to the weight...

LPG Fuel tanks aren't light then add 90 litres of fuel and a 9" diff it's not what you'd call "light" ;)

Christ IJ thats a bigass tank, your going for the long distance runs huh? Im assuming that thing has quite a few baffles to keep it from sloshing arround.

I weighed in at a whoping 3900lbs w/ me in it. To much to change if i wanted to make it a light weight so i'm embracing its flaws from now on.

I gotta laugh when people start trying to lighten them up...talk about an exercise in frustration.

I decided quite awhile ago that I was better off making more hp to compensate for my sup's portly stature.

Hp will only get you so far if you cant turn. Anything you can lighten up is worth it. After all 100lbs lighter is 100lbs lighter. It might not be a big difference but its a difference, an edge, although just a slight edge. Now a Supra's never going to be a lightweight like a freakin Miata or MRS but a 3300 lbs Supra will move nimbler than a 3800lbs Soup. And in NASA where adding more and more power adders will outclass your ass, you need lightening

My all steel '78 Nova weighs 3150 lbs. It's actually thinner and quite a bit lighter (but slightly longer) than my Sup. The Supra actually is difficult to slide in my tiny garage because it is a LAND BARGE.
